Congratulations on another terrific night of entertainment at Stanhope Hall. The stand up acts were all great and each had their own unique style. It was good to see such a wide variety of people taking part and in the audience. Barbara Nice was on form as usual as was Jo Enwright the guest comedian. Thank’s as well to the Women’s Group for another lovely curry.

That was a real evening out. A packed community centre, full of people laughing themselves silly. The Stanhope Hall regulars organised a brilliant feast and great layout of cramped tables and chairs. I hope the audience enjoyed themselves as much as I, and the other ‘performers’, did. As I proved- you don’t have to be ‘good at comedy’ to make people laugh! Thanks to Women and Theatre too for getting us into shape and working with Stanhope Hall to run this course and performance. Lets hope there are lots more.

Last night was wonderful – one of the best nights I’ve had in a long time. The staff at Stanhope were all lovely and the entertainment, food and atmosphere were incredible. It was so nice to see the people of Highgate come out and support the beginner comics. Stanhope Hall Community Centre and its Women’s Group are a real credit to the area it serves and the city as a whole.

Well done to all those who showed us their stand up comedy skills last night it was absolutely brilliant. Well done Barbara Nice and Women and Theatre too laughter is truly good for you, i am sure that everyone went away happy.
As usual the Womens group shone and did Highgate proud, Chef Nikki was the cook last night and Maggie her little helper. Thanks to Raj for helping me with the washing up and Andy of course attatched to a tea towel as usual. Thanks also to our young people who do us proud everytime. Thanks Lauren, Paige,Josh, Luke, Rhys, Ashlee and Jaimee. I hope that i didnt forget any of you.
Lets do it regularly its brilliant. Well done
